As the Lead Associate, Gerrit is responsible for a diverse portfolio of services inclusive of training and consulting in the broader procurement ecosystem inclusive of presenting masterclasses on the regulatory compliances for tender submission.
Tendering & Procurement Specialist
Gerrit is a leading Tendering & Procurement facilitator and also drafts procurement policies for both organs of state and private sector organisations.
He primarily consults for enterprises in preparing bids for government and private sector contracts.
To date, Gerrit has trained more than 2000 companies and individuals on how to submit regulatory-compliant tenders to the South African government.
Gerrit has also provided training for several government entities and advised them on the best practices required to comply with their SCM regulations.
ESG Green Procurement Keynote or Masterclass Presenter
With the advent of the demand for the implementation of policies and strategies around environmental, social and governance (ESG), Gerrit has produced a one-hour keynote presentation as well as a one or two-day masterclass on the implementation of ESG Green Procurement within organisations and their contribution in the race to net zero. To date the feedback has largely been positive by those who've listened to his presentation/masterclass and organisers of conferences and summits are welcome to include this dynamic conversation into their programmes.
Research and Advisory Services
Gerrit also assists enterprises and conference organisers with researching the aspect of how to implement new policies and strategies within organisational and operational ecosystems.
Social Media Data Research Reporting
Gerrit is also the head of TaranisCo Advisory's latest division, the Social Media Marketing Institute (SMMI) where he leads the program which promotes the leveraging of data from open sources. This SMMI conducts comprehensive audits of social media profiles and makes recommendations to organisations on how to fully optimise the value of their social media "real estate", to achieve their stated objectives through sustainable strategies.
